Data Deletion Requests
How to request deletion
To request deletion of data stored by Pompato — including data received from a connected Facebook Page or Instagram professional account — email [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request". Requests are reviewed and carried out by our team; deletion is not automatic.
What to include in your request
- Your name and the e-mail address associated with your Pompato account
- The name of your business or organization
- The Facebook Page(s) or Instagram account(s) your request concerns, if applicable
- What you want deleted — your entire account and its data, or only the data from specific connected accounts
Verification
Before deleting data, we may verify your identity and, where a request concerns a business account or connected social accounts, your authority to act on behalf of that business.
Response time
We respond within 45 days (extendable by an additional 45 days where necessary), the same timeframe stated in our Privacy Policy. Some data may be retained where a legal retention obligation applies, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disconnecting an account
You can disconnect a Facebook Page or Instagram account from Pompato at any time. After disconnection, the account is removed from your workspace and Pompato stops importing content from it, publishing to it, and responding to new activity on it. To withdraw Pompato's access completely, also remove the integration in your Facebook or Instagram account settings. Data already stored remains until you request its deletion as described above.
